Terms and Conditions
Intensive Driving School (IDS)
The cost of a Theory Test Package includes the current DSA Test fee which is non refundable, the balance of the Theory Test Package Fee is deducted from the balance of any driving course booked.
IDS may not always undertake courses in its own right but may search for fully qualified and Approved Driving Instructors to carry out the training and take a small fee from the Instructor/Driving School to cover its costs.
IDS suggests that pupils examine any terms and conditions peculiar to the Instructor/Driving Schools themselves for any variation to those made known when booked.
IDS has issued all instructor/Driving School suppliers with a voluntary code of conduct to include aspects covering flexibility, professionalism and general standards of service but Instructors/Driving Schools will have their own Terms and Conditions which must be referred to.
Whilst Instructors run the courses under their own Terms and Conditions, IDS itself undertakes the following activities:
• Advertising and marketing through its website www.intensivedrivingschool.com
• Answering enquiries, dealing with special needs, taking bookings, searching for available Instructors/Driving Schools, Driving Tests and confirming details in writing to both the pupil and Instructor/Driving School
• Ensuring the Instructor/driving school contacts the pupil to confirm the arrangements made and agree the schedule of lessons
• Booking the Driving Test, accommodation and travel where applicable for residential courses
• IDS is not responsible for collecting Instructor fees which will be payable direct to them or the Driving School in whatever manner agreed at the time of booking
• Dealing with all correspondence and communications
IDS requires a non refundable deposit of £100 to cover Driving Test Fees and Instructor/Driving School booking fee which will secure the booking and the balance will be payable direct to the Driving Instructor/Driving School at the start of the course unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellations will be accepted at any time but any deposit paid will usually be non-refundable. Any unused fees will not normally be refunded. Pupils should also refer to the individual Instructors Terms & Conditions for any variation in these arrangements.
Any pupil disagreements about the advice given or the level of service provided by the Instructor should be discussed directly with the Instructor/Driving School and IDS accepts no responsibility for the Instructors actions/decisions.
Additional tuition over and above the agreed amount may be purchased individually from the Instructor at the agreed rate and in accordance with the Instructors/Driving Schools Terms and Conditions.
Residential courses cannot be split and must be taken in consecutive days.
No responsibility is taken for cancellation of transport to and from the course venue but every effort will be made to reschedule courses but this may involve an additional charge.
There are no Test Pass Guarantees either provided by IDS unless otherwise agreed with specific instructors.
